Malady on Team Yandex’s BLAST SLAM VIII win

Victory after a hard final

Team Yandex support Arman “Malady” Orazbayev shared his thoughts after the team’s win at BLAST SLAM VIII. He posted a short video in his personal Telegram channel and described the result as the product of a tough run, not an easy walk to the trophy.

According to Malady, the final series was especially challenging because of the level of opposition. He noted that Team Spirit played very well, and also gave credit to PARIVISION for the way they performed in the event.

The comment matters because it shows how the players themselves viewed the win: not as a clean domination, but as a result earned through difficult series against strong opponents.

What Malady said about the team’s form

In his message, Malady sounded focused on the bigger picture rather than the single trophy. He said he hopes that in this new Dota year the team will be able to reach new heights.

That kind of remark is common after an important victory, but it also points to what teams often need after success: the ability to turn one title into a stable period of progress. For ranked players, the same idea applies on a smaller scale. A single good streak matters less than whether you can keep the level of play high over time.

Why this result is relevant for Dota fans

BLAST SLAM VIII gave Team Yandex a notable win, but Malady’s reaction suggests the team is not treating it as the end goal. His words frame the victory as a step in a longer season rather than a final destination.

For fans following the pro scene, that makes the next part of Team Yandex’s journey important to watch. If the team can build on this result, then the victory may be remembered as the start of a stronger period. If not, it will still stand as proof that the roster can compete with top opposition in pressure matches.

For players trying to improve their own MMR, the takeaway is simple: results become more valuable when they are repeatable. A hard-earned win is useful, but long-term consistency is what turns a good team into a strong one.
