OneJey says OG’s international roster changed his approach

OG’s run at PARI Universe

OG support Ivan “OneJey” Zhivitsky shared his view on the team’s performance at PARI Universe in a comment to CyberMeta. He described the result as acceptable, but also noted that the team’s win over Team Spirit created the feeling that OG could go even further in the event.

That kind of reaction is common when a team has a strong early result and then starts to think about the next step. For OG, the finish was not presented as a failure, but it still left the impression that there was more to build on.

First months in a new team

OneJey also spoke about how his early period in OG has gone. According to him, he feels more relaxed in the current lineup.

He linked that to the makeup of the roster, saying that the players are not from the CIS region. In his view, this changes the atmosphere and makes it easier for him to express himself during games.

Why atmosphere matters in Dota 2

For a support player, comfort inside the team often matters as much as raw mechanics. Communication, confidence and trust can affect how actively a player moves around the map, sets up fights and makes calls.

OneJey’s remarks suggest that the environment in OG has helped him feel freer in his role. That does not automatically translate into results, but it can be an important base for improvement over time.

For ranked players, the practical lesson is simple: a good atmosphere often helps players make fewer hesitant decisions. When communication is clear and a teammate feels comfortable, execution usually becomes more consistent.

What this means going forward

The comments do not point to any major roster drama or conflict. Instead, they show a player adjusting to a new environment and reflecting on a tournament run that had both positives and missed opportunities.

OG’s result at PARI Universe gave the team a respectable finish, while OneJey’s personal comments offer a small look into how he sees the current lineup. For now, his main takeaway is that the team setting has allowed him to play more freely than before.
